Zero Plastic Liberia at UNEA-7 Nairobi | Environmental Action

Zero Plastic Liberia continues to demonstrate that environmental leadership knows no borders. From Liberia to Nairobi, our Founder and Executive Director, Lucia N. Yeenee, represented our mission while attending UNEA-7 (United Nations Environment Assembly) and actively participating in a tree-planting and city clean-up initiative in Nairobi, Kenya.

This global environmental action highlights the importance of cross-border collaboration in addressing plastic pollution, climate change, and urban environmental challenges

Global Environmental Action in Nairobi, Kenya

While in Nairobi, Lucia N. Yeenee stood alongside environmental advocates, policymakers, and community members from around the world, hands in the soil and hearts committed to sustainability. The activity included tree planting and a city clean-up drive, reinforcing the role of community participation in building healthier and greener cities.

The initiative was organized by Be Well and Green, in partnership with PlasticFree, Nairobi City Council, and the Green Congress of Kenya. Their collaboration served as a powerful reminder that real environmental change happens when communities unite and take action together

Zero Plastic Liberia: Leadership Through Action

At Zero Plastic Liberia, we believe leadership is not just spoken, it is practiced. True leadership means choosing action over comfort, service over silence, and hope over apathy. Our involvement in environmental initiatives beyond Liberia reflects our commitment to global environmental stewardship and sustainable development.

Through local and international engagement, we continue to promote plastic reduction, environmental education, and community-led climate action

Advancing a Cleaner, Greener Future

Wherever we go, we carry the promise of a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. From grassroots initiatives in Liberia to international platforms like UNEA-7 in Nairobi, Zero Plastic Liberia remains dedicated to protecting the environment and inspiring collective responsibility for our planet.

The mission continues.
The movement grows.
