When Service Meets Sustainability: A United Liberia

Today, Paynesville breathed a little easier.

Not because the work was easy, but because the hearts behind it were strong.

In observance of the upcoming Armed Forces Day celebration, Zero Plastic Liberia proudly joined hands with the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) for a powerful community cleanup exercise, and it was a resounding success.

To our incredible volunteers and ZPL leaders: thank you for showing up with courage, humility, and unwavering commitment. You bent down to pick up waste, but in doing so, you lifted the spirit of a nation. You reminded us that environmental sustainability is not just policy, it is love in action. Love for our land. Love for our people. Love for Liberia.

To the Armed Forces of Liberia, we extend our deepest appreciation. Thank you not only for your service in protecting our nation, but for standing with communities in protecting our environment. Today, your discipline met our passion, and together we demonstrated that safeguarding Liberia also means safeguarding her land, her water, and her future.

This collaboration was not by chance, it was driven by purpose.

For the environment.

For the people.

For the nation.

May this moment inspire more unity, more action, and more hope. A cleaner, greener Liberia is possible, and together, we are making it real.

Zero Plastic Liberia remains committed.

The work continues.

The love remains.

Together, we serve.

Together, we protect.

Together, we rise. 💚♻️🇱🇷
