Zero Plastic Liberia Cleanup Drive in Harper City Celebrates AFL 69th Anniversary

Harper City, Maryland County, Liberia – Zero Plastic Liberia proudly organized a community cleanup drive in Harper City to commemorate the 69th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL). The initiative brought together volunteers and environmental advocates to tackle plastic pollution while honoring the service and dedication of Liberia’s military.

 At Zero Plastic Liberia, our mission is to promote environmental sustainability in Liberia by reducing plastic waste and encouraging community action. This cleanup campaign was more

than just an event, it was a meaningful way to show appreciation to the AFL while contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment. The Armed Forces of Liberia have played a vital role in maintaining peace and security across the nation. As a gesture of gratitude, our team and volunteers took to the streets of Harper City, equipped with gloves and waste bags, working together to remove plastic waste and restore the beauty of the community.

The Harper City cleanup drive demonstrated the power of collective action in addressing plastic pollution in Liberia. Despite the
